(Camtasia Studio Screen Recording and Production v4.0.1 - HTTP Download - recommended)
User Name = your own name
Serial number = QFTMPCACCCACCPAL3FGBL55F4
Use the following steps to setup Camtasia so that is most convenient for recording and sending while still following Interleague Camtasia Rules:
Setup Full Screen Recording (Required):
Open Camtasia Studio and click "Record". This will open the Camtasia Recorder.
Click Capture, then Wizard.
Select "Entire Screen", then click Next. Make sure that all boxes are unchecked, then click Next once again.
Click next next
Click Finish.
Setup Timestamp (Required):
On the Camtasia Recorder, click Effects, then Options.
Under the Annotation tab, check the "Time/Date boxes, and type "9999" (older versions will be 999) into the seconds field. Then click Options .
(Whilst it is preferable and makes things a tad easier there really is no necessity to check elapsed time box according to the pic below - time continuity will still show near the play button of your tape)
Position Stamp top middle show text colour and Background Colour then click Font
Select Arial - Regular - 20
Click Effects, Annotation, and make sure that "Add System Stamp" is checked.
Adjust Camtasia Settings for Optimized Performance (Highly Recommended):
On the Camtasia Recorder, click Tools, then Options.

Under the General Tab, check "Save as AVI".
Minimize before starting capture
Hide capture rectangle

Click "File name options". Check Automatic File Name and type YOUR name followed by a small v in the prefix field (e.g. Judge v)
This is so you can add who you played against when you save the file.
Select an output folder to save cam files in (make one on your desktop or wherever is convenient for you)

Under the video Tab, uncheck "Auto configure" and enter "1" in the frames/sec field.

Click OK.
When wishing to record your game, open the Camtasia Recorder, then press F9 on your keyboard. This will begin the recording. If the Camtasia icon in your taskbar is blinking, it signifies that it is recording.
Once the eight ball has been made, press F10 on your keyboard. This will stop the recording and bring the Camtasia Recorder back to the front of the screen.
If the settings for optimizing performance (mentioned above) were not followed, you must choose where to save the tape. This is the location from which you email the tape to your opponent, TD, or Admin. If the above setting were followed, then the tape will be automatically saved when the recording is stopped. Sometimes, the tape is automatically saved to the "Camtasia Studio" folder under "My Documents". If the tape is not there, open the Camtasia Recorder, click Tools, then Options; under the General Tab, click "File name options". The Output Folder is the location to which your tapes are automatically saved.
Your tape should look similar to this:

Note that the timestamp is shown and is also full screen. This is the requirement for all Interleague Camtasia Tapes.
In any case where a Camtasia situation arises that is not covered in the rules or the guide, the TD or Admin will have the final decision.
